This is CD #4 I've purchased of John Gill's bands

"As the title says, this is my 4th CD by John Gill and his various bands. They're all excellent but this is my favorite as I'm familiar with almost all of the cuts on this CD. I saw Big John twice in New Orleans at the 1999 & 2000 French Quarter Festivals. He really knows how to capture the pure, authentic sound of Dixieland jazz as it should be played. If you want a sample of that pure sound, then this CD is for you. I also recommend the other 3 currently available through amazon.com. You won't regret it!"
