"Magnifico CD para los que les gusta la musica Andina e instrumental. Es muy buena para oir en la oficina con sus compañeros de trabajo. Realmente vale la pena tenerlo en su coleccion."

"I just bought Espiritu on CD-ROM. I have to tell a story here. Three years ago, my wife and I were on a motorhome sojourn around Lake Superior, and our first overnight stay was in Gooseberry Falls State Park, MN. Carol wanted to visit the "trinket store" (visitor center) and I followed her in somewhat unwillingly. There was an audio cassette display that automatically played selections from the wares available, and as I went past this display, a very catchy song stopped me in my tracks. I just HAD to have this cassette! The song that captured my soul at the moment was El Trencito (The Little Train) which I didn't know at the moment of purchase. It was only when I reached the motorhome and removed the shrink wrap and read the list of songs that El Trenchito took on a second meaning. I am an unabashed train lover! The BIG ones (that run on real RR tracks). But, I digress .... The motorhome is in storage and I just HAD to have the CD-ROM, and it is playing as I write this. I cannot wax more enthusiastically than by saying this is a GREAT collection of music from the Andes. Some songs are lively (as El Trenchito is) and some are mournful and soulful, a truly powerful mix of musical emotions! You can't go wrong with John Herberman!"
