But also as a recording musician he is well in demand. He has recorded with Richard Thompson, Pere Ubu, Martin Carthy, Roy Bailey and many others. He has a been band member of Steeleye Span, Albion Band, Brass Monkey, Umps & Dumps and as well as an active solo musician and teacher. Sheepskins is a special project in his long career, a field recording, just the man and his box on a stool playing these marvelous Morris tunes. No overdubs, no reruns, pure music.
