Yet another overlooked gem

"This is a great "fusion" album, with a jazzier slant than most. Reminiscent of his Extrapolations album (some shared personnel), but grittier, with the more aggressive guitar work McLaughlin got into with Mahavishnu. But it doesn't intrude either. Sax work is awesome, as usual with John Surman. Compositions are more challenging than most fusion, again a bit like Extrapolations. Buy it.Not sure why it isn't linked under McLaughlin's list of recordings, though."
