More music from United 93

"Kimberly Peirce must have liked Powell's brilliant score to "United 93," because he's been asked to do another work in the same spare, often atmospheric style here. At times it sounds like a continuation of that score, but that's most certainly a compliment. There's also a powerfully melancholic main theme that recurs throughout, and is most beautifully expressed in the final 7 minute cue, "The Greatest Tragedy." This score doesn't scale the staggering heights of "United 93," it's more restrained, like the film, but if you enjoyed that score, buy this one with confidence. You can trust John Powell."
