"...we love the heck out of JT here in the Crossroads and are saddened by his passing. This CD here "Good Love" represents both his long awaited return to the radio playlists across the nation and a celebration of that silky soul blues lifestyle we imagined he had. Dressed in a tuxedo, transported only by limo, with a huge diamond studded gold ring on each finger, that brother could croon a good blues song or an R&B lounge favorite and have the sisters out of their seats; he, himself, of course, bearly broke a sweat...the brother was cool, and always cool. But he could also get down home with any bluesmeister in the house. Listening to the cuts here, "Last Two Dollars", "Too Many Memories", "Sending You A Kiss" and, of course, the groovin' "Good Love", I am convinced that most folks don't realise what a great talent the world has lost...we here in the Crossroads know."

"Johnnie Taylor was a great artist. His CD Good Love is so great I play it whenever I get the chance. Johnnie Taylor will truly be missed, but his legacy will live on. If you ever need something to pick you up Johnnie Taylor and his soulful voice will do the trick."

"You can't miss me when it comes to Johnny Taylor. I love everything he has ever done, every song he has ever sung. Every song I listen to him sing is better than the last. I always said I wanted to be married to him, and just have him sing me to sleep every night. I am surely going to miss him too. I already do. I love this cd just as I love all his cd's. He was truly the greatest. Any cd that has the name Johnny Taylor on it, I will definitely buy. This was one of the best. All the songs were great."
