"This magnificent 2 CD set would almost be worth the price just for the immortal words at the beginning of the first track, Hello, I'm Johnny Cash, which of course is how he began his famous concert at Folsom Prison, with an extraordinary version of Folsom Prison Blues that is even better than the original. The great songs are here: I Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, Big River, Sunday Morning Coming Down, Jackson, and there is so much more, including a remarkable duet with none other than Bob Dylan, and a couple of tracks with Waylon Jennings. The distinctive, macho, voice of Johnny Cash and his guitar strumming are American institutions, and I maintain that noone in country music has ever topped him."
