"This is just a classic piece of Johhny. I had this album on vinyl 'many' years ago. It's Australian release was called: Johnny Rivers 'LIVE' at Whiskey A Go Go. Of course Johhny was dubbed as being the 'founder' of the Go Go Clubs back in the 60's.



This album includes Johhny performing some great 'covers'. In particular, his rendition of Memphis Tennessee, which I believe is the best version ever recorded. As an OZ 'DJ' I play it 'often' on my radio program. The ultimate track being the title track of John Lee Hooker. Almost 16 minutes of 'classic' blues guitar by Johnny.



Overall, it truly is a brilliant example of Johnny's talent both as a guitarist AND as a singer too. It is a MUST for all 'JR' fans !!"
