You will never forget his voice! 04/03/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Love Education is a great album, with songs that put you at ease.Gibson's soulful voice will grip you as the songs convict you in a way that you will appriciate.Songs like "The Narrow Road" will get you moving and feeling good." I love Jon Gibson, but this album fell short David Church | Seattle, WA United States | 12/16/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "I have been a longtime Jon Gibson fan. When his Forever Friends album received a lot of airtime in 1992, I couldn't help but dance around my living room. With all his talent, I am very suprised that Jon doesn't get more airtime than he does. This album was released in 1995. At that time, Jon's style had been steadily improving - Forever Friends definitely was a smoother version of the raw enthusiasm contained in his earlier efforts. I usually don't buy music based solely on the artist, however, Jon had proved himself and I jumped at the chance to buy this. Love Education seemed to lack the energy that I had grown to love in Jon's music. In fact, I would say that this album is an anomaly. It doesn't have those little hip-hop interludes like You are the One. I didn't notice any wild and unexpected drums that got me excited like his Preacher Man song. This album did have some attractive melodic qualities, but that's not really what I've come to enjoy about Jon Gibson's music. I'm hoping that his next album is more satisfying."
