"Here you have, if you like the heavier type of beats and have a "sweet tooth" for bass-guitars, a album that for sure make your head spin for quite some time... One question you might ask yourself efter hearing this album is: "Who is this guy makeing such sounds simply with a bass-guitar?" Modern Fusion musiks answer to Jimi Hendrix, and all this made on a bass.
If I liked this record? What do you think after reading this initial lines? Of cause I do. My first meeting with this bass-virtuoso was throgh a friends father (profesional musician), the fine-tuned melodic record "Basic thing" with honey sweet tunes like "Orfeu Negro" and after that I was lost for his music. I bought the Axis album on vinyl and have played it so much I just have to buy it on CD since the scratches just became to revealing when playing it... Tracks that are closest to my heart are "What can I say" with its sensual warm female vocals and "Money Talk" for its rough sound.
This album are simply the best of what Fusion can deliver..."
