This a wonderful instrumental cd with many romantic, sensual tracks. If you like David Lanz, Yiruma, and other piano maestros, you will love this effort by the Journey keyboardist. Several of these songs we used as the centerpiece for our wedding, and his version of the bridal march is amazing. I give this 5 stars for the grace and passion of these songs, and as the liner notes suggest many were written or performed at various weddings he attended, including his own.

Full of beauty and emotion, woven with seemless fluidity.

""for a lifetime" is a wonderful and stirring offering by Journey keyboardest Jonathan Cain. It is a romantic landscape that Jonathan paints on the disc and although beauty abounds on this album, there are also many powerful "statements", made while always balancing deep sentiment with the soaring sounds of the triumph of spirit. Simply a magnificent work of art. A must have for the truly romantic at heart!"
Beautiful music, very romantic.

"This album shows the romantic side of jonathan cain's compositions. The music itself is arranged superbly. But I like "piano with a view" better. The number 1 reason is that this album's sound quality is flawed. I have no idea how this album was recorded. It is very murky and unclear. Also some of the arranged instruments just are too fake. The piano must have been recorded with an analogue recorder. You'll know what I mean when you listen to it.This is a great album. Don't get me wrong. I love it. But the sound clarity is sub-level. If you don't have a jonathan cain album get piano with a view (the best higher octave release by him) and if you like it get this.Other than the minor flaws the album is a gem."
