"ENGLISH: "Mi Vida" marks the end of the classic style of the sound of Jose Jose with BMG Ariola that brought him to his second era (of three or four)of super hits. This era begins with the album "Reencuentro" and "Mi Vida" is the climax because the album includes songs by different composers (mainly Rafael Perez Botija) and the music is great as the voice of "The Prince of Romantic Music". Every song is plenty of dramatic sense, passion and feeling. "Desesperado" was the first single, "Mi Vida" is autobiographic, "Y Para que" another single, "Vale la pena intentarlo" with a unique performance. Jose, in a mature style, uses for the last time long finals (of about one minute) in the end of the songs. In the next album "Secretos" he will apply a new refreshed style. I think "Mi Vida" is a perfect album that represents the sound of the ballad in spanish of the 80's.SPANISH: "Mi Vida" marca el fin del sonido clásico del estilo de José José con BMG Ariola que lo llevaron a su segunda época (de tres o cuatro) de super éxitos. Esta era comienza con el album "Reencuentro" y "Mi Vida" es el climax porque incluye canciones de diferentes compositores (principalmente de Rafael Perez Botija y la música es estupenda tanto como lo es la voz del "Príncipe de la Canción". Todas las canciones son plenas de dramatismo y sentimiento. "Desesperado" wfue el primer sencillo, "Mi Vida" toma un tema autobiográfico, "Y Para que" es otro sencillo, "Vale la pena intentarlo" tiene una interpretación elegante y única. Jose, con un estilo maduro, usa por última vez sus largos finales al terminar las canciones, con duración de alrededor de un minuto. En su siguiente album, "Secretos" , él aplicará un renovado y diferente estilo. Creo que "Mi vida" es un album perfecto, que representa el sonido de la balada romántica en español de los 80's."
