CD Reviews

You may know him as Uncle Josh
kditty | Miamisburg, OH | 02/01/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"One of the Original Foggy Mountain Boys, Uncle Josh is a true legend. When I first bought this album, I had no idea who 'Josh Graves' was, I only knew him as 'Uncle Josh' the guy I listened to and loved from the Flatt and Scruggs, Live at Carnige Hall album. You will get a true idea of what a legend he really is as you listen to this album, not only his playing, but the commentary from other legends like Bill Monroe, Marty Stuart, Mac Wiseman, and Jerry Douglas. All of the listed people have nothing but great things to say about Uncle Josh, and I have no choice but to agree with each and everyone of them after listening to this album. With tracks like Earls Breakdown, Aint They Crazy, Dobros In Scotland, all performed with Uncle Josh's personal touch, I have to rate this album 5 stars, I highly recommend you buy this, if you don't already have it in your bluegrass collection."
