"i love hearing old jazz standards by new artists. gypsy has a very different torchy style that is suited for this material. she is emotional and romantic in her stylings. the music is very different in it's arrangements, yet, gypsy&reno stay true to the classic melodies. very excellent album. more?"
Smokey Vocals

"" Reno has a slightly different M.O. to these standards. We also get our first taste of Gypsy's passionate and smokey vocals. She immediately shows that she can sing this type of material effectively. The keyboard arrangements are quite full and are buyoed by his stalwart piano playing. Gypsy gives a swanky interpretation of The Duke's Sophisticated Lady . It's a fine starting effort for a small label." Tom Topkoff ( Fallout Magazine)"

"it's always a pleasure to hear new artists remake old classics. if only to get the feel of younger artists approach to timeless classics. Smokey, torchy alto voice of gypsy and the swooping arrangements of reno, make for a good journey to the heart."
