"As a jazz listener and collector for 40 years or so, it is rare that I come across something great that I had completely missed. In this case, chalk it up to my residence in a provincial locale, New York. Through a friend, I discovered 8 Bold Souls (I have three CD's of theirs), and, by association, the Ethnic Heritage Ensemble as well. Wilkerson, as one reviewer suggested, is a magician, the instrumentation is unique and creative, abd the group cooks. Anyone unfamiliar with these guys should catch up. It was a great find, and I am grateful to my buddy for touting them to me."
