The second side consists of six more beautiful Torme compositions, including 'A Stranger in Town; A Stranger Called the Blues; Welcome to the Club; Willow Road; Born to be Blue', and 'The Christmas Song', one of the few seasonal songs Sammy ever recorded. Perhaps Sammy's most unusual album, and perhaps his hardest to find!

What a great find!

"I bought this on an original LP many years ago and then it turned up missing. I could never find it again although those were the days when you had to call around to different record stores to find something (BI-before the internet). I always loved this version of Mel Torme's wonderful composition. It has the pep that only Sammy Davis can give a song. The other songs on the CD are among Mel's best. This is a great CD!"
