Sweeeeet, Soft "Son"- styled Guitar Dancin' in Cumbia Groove

"i just had to leave a brief review of this highly enjoyable CD of soft & sweeeeet Son-styled, guitar dominated recordings... Juan Carlos Quintero's Godin guitar playing taste-fully blended w/ subtle & well-mixed percussion, bass & tastey accordian sounds create a recording that stays intimate yet groovin' all the way thru the entire all-instrumental collection... this CD works for me as light latin, guitar-oriented music for relaxing or dancing or even as a CD for playing guitar along with 'n' soloing over to well-produced Latino rhythms & simple "Santana-esque" chord progressions similar to my favorite old Son recordings- but without any vocals or horns [which as a guitarist, i prefer] !!! as a musician, i appreciate CDs that i can both listen to for enjoyment & yet use as rhythmic backing tracks when i am playing at home as well as learn from for correctly & well phrased guitar & bass parts for Latin or Gypsy rhythms... & this CD serves all those needs for me & so = it gets played alot in my home both for listening & for learning... thank you JC Quintero for recording such a consistent guitar environment [all the way thru the CD] that i can enjoy as well as utilize !!!"
