"If you ever wanted to hear Judy Garland at her Absolute Mature Vocal Best, then be sure that you hear the first Album on this CD entitled, "That's Entertainment" Every Song on this first Album is done with pure perfection and great emotional feelings! Nobody could sing the song, "That's Entertainment" better than Judy Garland!! With her brilliantly flawless precise talk singing for this particular song, combined with her Greatly Powerful Vibrato on the extended notes of this Great Showbiz Tune, Judy makes this "That's Entertainment" number her very own, creating an unforgetable listening experience!!! And then the Jazzy Tune that follows which is entitled, "Who Cares?" is another Treat to the Ears! It's very rare to hear Judy singing Jazz in her later years, but in this particular song, she does a Tremendous Job of it, and sounds like she is having such a Grand Time doing it too!!
The Very Romantic Songs included on the first Album, are done with such a depth of emotion from this Artist Judy Garland, that you feel she is actually living the songs!! Especially the Songs like, "If I Love Again" accompanied wonderfully by a Soft Guitar which allows the listener to hear the beautiful and perfect 'bird like quality' in Garland's Terrific Voice!! Other Greatly Performed Romantic Numbers include a very rare song entitled, "Yes" which almost had me in tears near the end of this number. And also the song entitled, "It Never Was You" Accompanied only with a piano which once again revealed the rich and moving tone quality of Garland's Lovely Voice!! Another song to take notice of, is her hauntingly more widely known romantic song entitled, "Alone Together" which was done with utter perfection! And the more rousing romantic song number she does just before this entitled, "Just You, Just Me" is done in a Charmingly Flirtatious Fashion. It's Great!!
Now we come to the second part of this Great CD, which consists of the soundtracks from the movie Judy Garland did in England entitled, "I Could Go On Singing" Among my favorite songs included on this Particular Album are "Hello Blue Bird" which Judy sings in a delightfully almost childlike way if you will, with a devastatingly powerful ending that is Quite Exciting!! Another favorite of mine is a track selected by Capital Records which Judy does another version of the song, "It Never Was You" which was also heard previously in the first Album of this CD. But this time, this same song number is done more informally with even some Studio Background Moving Camera Noises included since this song was recorded live during the filming of the movie, "I Could Go On Singing" instead of being Pre-recorded in a Closed Recording Studio. So Judy sang this song on a live Sound Stage for a Dramatic Effect, and once again only accompanied by a piano! What a Great Vocal Emotional Result this live Singing proved to be, since the singing of this song, "It Never Was You" is so very personal sounding, with Judy singing it live like this-on a Film Set!
Another Great Song Number included in this Movie Soundtrack Album from the movie, "I Could Go On Singing" is Judy's Popular Song entitled, "By Myself" In my opinion, this is the best recording of this song ever!!! I say this because not only does Judy Garland herself give a Great Emotional Artistic Interpretation of this song, but the orchestra accompaning her in this number, is Absolutely Fantastic to say the very least!!!
Both of these Albums which are included on this One CD, are a must for any serious Judy Garland Collector! You will definitely not be wasting your money in the purchasing of this CD which does consist of Purely Outstanding Judy Garland Treasures..."

"This Woman knows how to deliver a song, and these two Great Albums prove this fact! Two incredible Judy Garland Albums on a Single CD! The First Album done in 1960 has Judy Singing upbeat songs as well as slow ballads, and no matter if she sings a swinging number or a serious love song, Judy can't lose because her Vocal Tone and Range are always unforgetable!! The Second Album are Sound Track Recordings from her 1962 Movie-"I Could Go On Singing" Even though Judy's voice sounds somewhat different from her vocals in the first album on this CD, she nevertheless gives-absolutely Incredible Performances on this Soundtrack Album with a great emotional impact that will thrill the listener to no end! Judy Garland is a one of a kind performer, and these two Powerful Albums that are placed on a Single CD, prove this beyond any shadow of a doubt whatsoever!!! Buy this CD, and see why Judy Garland was so rightfully given the honor of being named, "World's Greatest Entertainer!""

"Thank God for Collectables Records. It's about time Judy's original LP's were put on CD. In the past Capitol Records have put afew of Judy's LP's on CD. The bad thing is they sell out fast, and are hard to find. These collections are GREAT! Quality sound and liner notes. A must have for JUDY FANS."

"It is nice to hear these albums again all cleaned up with such great sound. I expected a bit more from the restoration on the I Could Go On Singing soundtrack portion of the cd. However, it is still good and is head and shoulders above anything I have heard on any of the compilation discs when they have used one of the tracks. I really enjoyed this cd."

"I bought this album just to have I Could Go On Singing soundtrack and beleive me it is worth buying. The first part of the album, although some great numbers isn't a patch on I Could Go On Singing. As far as I know this movie was called The Lonely stage when released in America but it the UK it was Called I Could Go On Singing. If you've seen the movie, after the first number she builds up to going on stage to sing Hello Bluebird, An amazing number by the end of the number I'm sitting there with a great big grin on my face thinking nobody can do it like Judy. There is a rare bit of Judy singing Gilbert & Sullivan's HMS Pinafore with school kids, charming. I'll go my way by myself has to be the ultimate Garland song, she puts every emotion into this number, it will give you a lump in your throat listening to it. I read from the liner notes that the movie is now out of print, hopefully it will be released on DVD SOON. If you haven't seen the movie buy this CD it is Judy's Last soundtrack recording and is worth having"
