"This delightful import CD contains most of Juice Newton's singles from 1977 to 1982. It includes the hits everyone knows ("Queen Of Hearts," "Angel Of The Morning," "Love's Been A Little Bit Hard On Me" and "The Sweetest Thing"), as well as Newton's Grammy-winning #11 pop hit "Break It To Me Gently." The remainder of the album is comprised of lesser-known hits, such as Top 40 gems "Heart Of the Night," "Sunshine" and "Let's Keep It that Way," but what really sets this collection apart from other Juice Newton "Best Of" CDs is that it includes a few true rarities! The version of the #1 hit "The Sweetest Thing" included here is the 1981 country version, which was only included on a few original pressings of the "Juice" album before being replaced with the pop version...and this is the ONLY CD to date that includes this wonderful version. Also present are the single mix of "Come To Me" and the album version of "A Love Like Yours." Again, these tracks are only available on this CD!Whether you are a long-time or casual fan, or simply someone interested in Juice Newton's pioneering pop-country music, this is a terrific compilation. While the majority of her biggest hits (which were on the charts from 1983 until 1989) are not included, this is still an excellent CD of a truly underrated artist."
