"Julee Cruise's second album, produced by Lynch and Badalamenti, continues the musical exploration of the producers. If you like the first CD, you are going to love this one too. Some of the tracks are inspired in tunes composed by Badalamenti for Lynch's "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me". Some others also appeared in the video-concert "Industrial Symphony #1". The bests songs in the album are "Up in flames", "Kool Kat Walk" (songs we heard before in "Wild at heart"), "She would die for love" and "Questions in a world of blue" (which according to the script of TP:FWWM is the most beautiful love song ever...) I hope someday Julee Cruise release another album to keep on hearing her somewhat naive and ethereal voice."

"Julee Cruise's first solo album was an excellent companion piece to the "Twin Peaks" soundtrack, but this follow-up effort received little attention and almost seems like an afterthought. The songs are decent enough, and fans who want more of the "Twin Peaks" sound won't be disappointed; the formula for these tracks is pretty much the same. Angelo Badalamenti's lush arrangements flow dreamlike under her angel's breath vocals, echoing the mood of many of David Lynch's films. In fact, versions of "Kool Kat Walk" and "Up In Flames" appeared on the "Wild At Heart" soundtrack, while "Questions In A World Of Blue" and the title track were both included on the "Fire Walk With Me" soundtrack from the year before. "She Would Die For Love" revisits the "Theme From Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me," only this time with vocals. Lynch also sculpted the clay head on the cover of this CD (check out the documentary "Pretty As A Picture" for the full story behind it). Sadly, Cruise's activity has dwindled in the years since the famed TV series ended, but this disc provides some of the last musical snapshots of that period."
Very comforting, soothing music.

"Julee Cruise creates a very special mood with all of her songs. Of particular interest is the track "Kool Kat Walk". I'm a big fan of anything "Twin Peaks". Julee is mentioned in "Wrapped In Plastic". Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer) is a friend of hers and insisted that she sing the music for TPFWWM and also appear in the movie.Julee Cruise recently sang with the B-52s in their live concert."

"I was sceptical when I got this cd at first cause I had only heard "questions in a world of blue"off the fire walk with me soundtrack.I guess I was concerned that the rest of the disc might be fruitty for the most part, but I was very wrong.both this and her first album are in a tripped-out lazy/chill class of their own!with lynch on lyrics and ange on atmosphere, this is a weird sort of "supergroup"as it's sometimes said.if you like dark ,sultry lounge music you'll probably wear out this cd in no time if that's even possible!"
Great stuff from the greatest people
