Fabulous CD!

"Julia Macklin has a beautiful voice and a talent for writing dynamic and dreamy songs. This is definitely a mood CD. It's very peaceful, filled with sensual melodies and soothing harmonies. I'm especially fond of "Who Said Anything?" and "So Much Sky". I find myself humming them even when I'm not actually listening to the CD (which isn't often). She also does a beautiful cover of The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby". I love this recording. It's been in my CD player almost constantly since I got it. The only criticism would have it to be that it doesn't last long enough. But just keep your CD player on repeat and you'll be happy. In her bio on her website she mentions that she's writing songs for her next CD.
I can hardly wait."

"Ms. Macklin has a beautiful voice. Her melodies are quite varied and her lyrics deep. I love "Say Goodbye" with its "bass" guitar lead-in and having it as an undertone throughout the song. "Who Said Anything" is wonderful, too. The harmonies in this CD are very crisp. It's a pleasure listening to it."
