"A few weeks ago, I went to Paris to do some shopping and to catch up with some friends of mine. I decided to stop in the Tower Records on the Champs-Elysees to pick up some albums. Julie Zenatti's was one of the selections playing in the listening center, so I decided to try it. What can I say! I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! She has an incredibly strong voice that gives me the chills everytime I listen to her sing. You do not need to understand the french language to feel her passion. I do understand french, but even without the understanding, the music and her voice are incredible.

"Okay, I don't get along with most females on this planet, but Julie... I have a feeling I would get along with her, because she is a girl after my own heart. I actually saw her perform on stage. She has such strong presence. She is poised and confident. At the same time, there is not a trace of arrogance in her. Pure talent, pure composure.



This CD is not my favorite one, but I still gave it solid 4 stars. The music is a bit monotonous. I would have liked to see more of a variety, like on her first album. Most tracks here are too mellow. They do not allow her to show the full range of her voice. I would have liked to see more fast, aggressive pieces."
