As you know, the egregious and solemn figure of Edith Piaff, literally shadowed a whole generation of promising raising stars of the French song.
But Juliette Greco belonged to a previous generation. She was owner of an expressive and grasping voice, hovered by a fascinating and mesmerizing lyricism. She captivated me from my early childhood; as a matter of fact, many other talented female voices have apperaed on stage but very few have been able to reach her level, so evocative and sumptuous at the same time.
To my view, the best song of both albums is the No. 11 of the first album; (The wonderful lovers) filled by that visible nostalgic mood, enrapturingly featured by her.
It's useless to talk of Juliette Greco without remarking her talent, charisma and sublime transcendence. She bacame a cult status for the new generations to come, and still she continues to engage new newcomers.
Don't hesitate just for a second and go for this admirable and priceless compilation that resumes the art of this captivating woman.
The state of art!"
