""DNA" by Jumbo was released in 1972. Much of this recording sounds like the self-titled release ("Jumbo") which preceded it. A bit bluesy at times, also with much emphasis on flutes and lots of Italian vocals like the first album. However, the band are a bit more agressive here and the thundering percussion which eventually kicks in is a pleasant surprise which elevates the music to a more intense level. Some nice organ work rounds it out. While not as polished as their next release ("Vietato ai Minori di 18 Anni", their strongest recording), "DNA" is a nice recording and this limited edition Japanese CD comes with great packaging, including a "to scale" gatefold mini-LP cover with inserts."
