"I'm surprised that I'm the first person to write a review for this record, it's definitely one of June's best. It pretty much picks up where 'Baby's Breadth' left off, but with less of a country feel this time around. Overall I'd say this record has more of a rock feel to it, and June's voice has never sounded better. I'm sure there will be more Bob Dylan comparisons,
and more confusion over the lyrics. The recording sounds great too. It has that thin silvery guitar sound that reminds me of Dylans 'Blonde On Blonde' guitar sound, which is incredible. Some of the optimism that fills June's other records seems to have faded a little, but the songs are still fun and full of surprises. In my opinion June Panic is a sadly overlooked, amazing songwriter. I'd recommend this record to anyone who appreciates truly original songwriting. This is really amazing stuff."
