The basis of their sound is in the rythm section which is as tight as a tic. Layered over this are great slabs of guitar which owe more than a nod to the Clash and topped off with melodies which grab your attention and will not let go. These are really great pop tunes with bite and one could spot many potential singles. "She's a rocket" is a Mott the Hoople song for the nineties and rates as the best song in years. Look out for memories of school in "Shirts v skins" and liberal quantities of teen angst in all the songs.A truly great album and if you like your music to sound loud, tuneful and aggressive, this should have a place on your stereo. I heartily recommend you buy it"
