I picked it up on a whim many years ago, knowing nothing about the artist but being a fan of the piano-based jazz trio format. It simply blew my mind. I lost the CD some time ago in a move, but some of the phrases from it continued to haunt my thoughts and dreams. If you like the jazz trio, I have no hesitation in recommending this recording. It is conventional in structure, but in the brilliant solos gets nearly avant-guard and somewhat trippy. Nevertheless it remains brilliant and very listenable and sticks to the traditional structure. Highly recommended."
