"If you like your piano trio jazz played with aggression, imagination and lyricism, then by all means do whatever is necessary to get your hands on a copy of this album. Junko's command of the piano is complete, and she and her sidemen, bassist Reginald Veal and drummer Herlin Riley, do a bang up job on tunes ranging from Irving Berlin's old warhorse "Blue Skies" to Mingus' "So Long Eric." A definite must for any jazz collection."

"First Shié Ayado now Junko Onishi - the sky is truly the limit to these talented japanese female musicians. Yes, jazz is undeniably the real thing when they sing or play it."
