CD ReviewsI have seen the future of rocking roll ! 08/22/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Okay ... no hyperbole. But I have this CD, and it's GREAT! I've never seen them live; I don't know if they've ever been out to the East coast, but they sound like they'd be a great live show, too. I agree with the "dreamy" description mentioned above, but Jupiter Down also rocks, you know! This ain't no sad, look-at-your-shoes Mazzy Star stuff: they can create nice textures of sound, but there's a solid bass & drums along with it. And the vocals definitely have SOUL to them ... this isn't a lull-you-to-sleep kind of record. Anyway. I know it's hard deciding whether to spend hard-earned cash on a CD you don't know that much about, but MY hard-earned cash says you'll like it! (And you can impress your friends with how ahead of the trends you are!) Really, though ... great album."
