Too depressing to be around

"I'm sorry that I'm not in awe like everyone else seems to be in here, but I cannot agree that this is the best album ever.
And I'm not writing this review just to lower the rating! I absolutely love "Cocoon Crash" and after 4 years of having it it's still in my active library, but something is lost in "Almost Happy". That youth and energy, the unacceptance of the world as it is and the desire to change what you can and to let others know about all the great as well as horrible things around... It seems that in this album the band complied with the awfulness of their lives and chose to stand aside and do nothing about it, including to be a part of the world they live in.
I listen to this album like a story about something I don't believe is real, while the "Cocoon Crash" is a candid invitation to the reality that we all exposed to but often choose not to see and to hide from behind the closed doors. It has too many references to the past, what if statements and generalizations to swallow. There's one incredible song, two other good songs, and the rest I cannot listen to because there's no hope in sight and I fall in depression merely from listening to it.
I advise you to check the lyrics first and if you're ok with them - happy listening."
Almost unheard of group, wonderful voice, trick lyrics

"Not your average 'folky rock back from another country. Seriously, the lyrics (although sometimes depressing) combine humor with a touch of despair. Like their other albums, the lead singers voice (yup, i don't know her name) is smooth with just a slight edge.
This album is a little "slower" and mellower than "Paradise In Me", but is conistent throughout.
Oh, and the song "Breakfast" makes me laugh every time!"
Almost Happy , got me completelly Happy!!!!

"I get this cd as a recomendation from one of the most beautifull woman i have ever meet in my life, "this one is hard to get" she said "but im glad i own it" and it was true, Ks choice is so emotional, true, honest, wise its a joy for life and a celebration of friendship, love , life, adventure, a complete journey between the different chapters of life specially if you are getting into thirtysomething age since many of the lyrics get into the issues that you have to face in such part of life, check out, "live for real", "my head", "somewhere", "home" (this is one of them), and "favorite adventure" (another one). Add "Almost Happy" to the soundtrack of your life, you wont regret your desition
