"I picked up this CD in the bargain bin at a cheezy outlet mall record store, and I didn't expect much. I had heard of the band through various lists of '60's San Francisco bands and from the Zabriskie Point soundtrack, but didn't know what the band is all about.I really enjoy this album though. The first track, "Lie To Me" is a great rocker, while the last two tracks "Cuckoo" and "Seven Ate Sweet" are just amazing psychedelic tunes with arabic-sounding vocals and instruments thrown in. I think the instrument in question is called an oud. Just great experimental '60s stuff. The rest of the tracks are a hodge-podge of styles (country-rock, blues, etc) and are less memorable, but pleasant enough to tide you over until "Cuckoo". David Lindley is probably a name familiar to Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia fans, and he is an amazing multi-instrumentalist. Get this album and see how he got his start.I can't believe no one else has reviewed this one. Great stuff!"
