"This is not for the faint of heart. If you want to open the chakras, and eventually raise Kundalini, this is for you. You can do it once a week or so, but to REALLY get in there and open things up, do it once a day. Be ready for your emotional 'stuff' to be brought to the surface though. The meditation is intense, beautiful, healing. The results appear quickly (if doing daily). I recommend you arm yourself with a bit of Kundalini knowledge and be prepared for some intense emotional clearing. Then, enjoy the ride."
Dynamic chakra meditation

"This sister-meditation to Osho's Chakra Sounds is more dynamic, using rapid breathing into the 7 main chakras.

You stand firmly with your feet like roots in the earth but allow whatever bodymovements that may spontaneously happen. Like in Chakra Sounds you move three time up from root to crown and then faster down again. This downward movements setting Osho's meditations apart from most other chakra-meditations, and they feel really profound and healthy.

In the last phase, the first taking 45 min., you sit down and let the inner silence shine through, now that the ego-mind may be 'exhausted' enough to let go of its normal chattering. This is for 15 min..

The music by Kamal, mainly synths and drums, is deep and helpful.

This enhanced version comes with a video-segment to help beginners to the best possible start to this fascinating meditation."

"A Warning: Some Osho meditation albums can be listened to just for the music out of pure enjoyment. This is not one of them. This is an interactive CD requiring YOU to do more than just listen. This is not for passive enjoyment, it's for an intense dedication to the breathing exercises.

I just tried it now for the first time. I went to the park at 2am, found a spot where I'd be least likely to see another creature, and started the thing playing.

First part: getting into the sway of things. Breathing intensely focusing on the first chakra center. Wait until the chime indicating when to move upwards to the second chakra. This cycle continues, along with non-stop intensive breathing and body movements, until the crown chakra is reached when three chimes in quick succession will indicate when to move down through the chakras again to the base. This is done three times, with a few seconds inbetween for the listener/performer/meditator to catch his breath and chill.

By the completion of the first part you should, at the very least, be covered in sweat and feeling very alive. While focusing on the intense breathing, it's good to let the body go wild while remaining in a firm stance on the ground. Shake, swing your arms, go insane.

Second part: 15 minutes of pure, uninterrupted, golden silence. It will feel like ages are passing. The goal is to become immersed in the silence after such a chaotic prior 45 minutes. Attempt this playfully to avoid any depression once realizing that your mind is full of repetitive crap that is disturbing your attempts at peacefulness.

So, there I was, in the middle of an unlit park at two in the morning, shaking like a madman to music and sounds only perceptible to me. I was vibrating, wailing around, swaying, head banging... you name it. To another it's possible I looked like someone having a seizure. You will too - so find a secluded place to avoid embarrassment if you're bothered. ;)

Recommended for those interested in Osho's meditations."
