Kampfire Kowboys music is best described as hard drivin' Americana Country with a definitive Rock n' Roll edge. The group is comprised of five local Chicago musicians. Tom Colton - songwriter/singer/guitarist, Tadd King - singer/guitarist, Brian Tedeschi - lead guitarist, Dave Piper - Bass, and Keith DaProza on drums. This CD, our second in the past two years, is an extension of our first CD titled "Somewhere Blue". It is an epic drama of lost love and times in the old west. It speaks of historical times and events that have sculptured America into the great country that it is today. There are songs that are woven from personal experiences, and some that are just pure musicianship. Make no mistake; Kampfire Kowboys is first and foremost a band that loves to have fun and play live. Our shows are energetic, enthusiastic, and full of surprises. All of us come from rock or country backgrounds and have been playing around the Chicago club circuit for years. We have a passion for it!
