"...... I'd have never bought this cd were it not for the backing by the John Pizzarelli trio. Thank you, John. Karen Moore can really sing!!! The first time through it, I was a bit disappointed. There are several numbers that are more blues than jazz. But after three or four listens it has become one of my favorites. I know the marketed is flooded with female jazz vocalists right now, and it's getting harded to pick up on all of them, but I sure recommend you give some serious thought to this one. [....]"

"This woman can do it in her sleep. She's got an incredible voice, terrific phrasing, and really puts her stamp on each song. Don't be fooled by the fact you've never heard her. She put this album out on her own and it's got more love in it than a record company could dream of. TRY IT AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT WRITE ME AN ANGRY E-MAIL. I BET YOU LOVE IT."
