"I bought this album and the Lecrae: Real Talk in the same day and I don't listen to this one too much anymore. That Lecrae go hard. The 1st couple tracks on this album were straight but I just don't agree with some of the things they say on some of the other tracks, for example
"you haters all broke like humpty/ no dough no flow/yo I like my pockets lumpy....I'm all about souls and stayin icy...you know I live the lifey/ its simple math/ call me a dreamer aka yo I'm still the man....I've written more heat than famous authors/ BB Jay is illy like wonka/ I'm a big tonka and I can back it up/ globaly lyrically I'll cause a masacre/ what."
He just talkin bout himself and how he got flow thru the whole verse.
Then track 5, the beat goes hard and the chorus starts out nice but then he say
WUT!? GOD pays!? Stackin wut!? Maybe I just didnt hear him right....nah I just listened to it and that's what he say. Also the first verse is much the same talkin bout Chrome 22's and his diamonds blindin. The beats are off the chains and you can call me a hater if you want but I'm not feelin it.
They barely sayin the Saviors Name. The only time they say GOD is when they say 3 the GOD way tracks. Maybe I just didnt hear them right. That song Duval Duval hits but after a minute of it I get tired of hearin DUVAL DUVAL!!! I feel the best track on there is #11 by Demetrius. I feel my Holy Ghost move when I hear it.
"I just want to take the time to praise you LORD/ Cuz cant nobody else do me like you GOD/ For you I live for you I die/ So I stand strong wit my hands held high/ and lift your name wit everythin I got."
Then he goes on to spit what GOD has done for him. I think that track makes this album worth buying, but if you can buy track 11 in a single then just cop that. There's better stuff out there like that Lecrae Real Talk."

"Just picked this one up a ocuple days ago, and all I have to add is that this 3 The God Way is un underground classic...the production is tight, the lyrics are HOTTT, and Christ is represented. Maybe it's me, but this one caught me by surprise, who would've thought that B.B.Jay, Pettidee, and Demetrius would click up and blindside the Holy Hip Hop world with a Southern/Eastern/R&P masterpiece. Gotta be one o' the tightest joints I've heard since Grapetree Records(RIP) released FTF back in the day! While I'm feelin' some of the other critics on some o' the lyrics, I felt God was glorified on this one. Maybe they didn't quote scripture word-for-word like my boys from CM,and maybe they didn't throw in the name of Jesus in every other verse, but if you're knowin' Him, you're knowin' they're talkin' about Him and havin' fun with it. 2 Words for Holy Hip Hop and the whole WORLD...DUVAL,DUVAL!!! LOL!"

"I think a "reviewer" looked at the front cover and thought to themselves "Hey, this probably has tons of cussing and sexual innuendo in it. Let's just slap the 'explicit' label on it and move on to the next cd"
Well, for everyone's information, this album is kind to the ears as well as putting a hop in your step. These guys keep it clean, no need for two versions of this cd (explicit and clean)."
Clap your hands now

"I really did enjoy this cd. My nephew and my kids also like the cd. I am glad that there is a positive rap that they can listen to. I recommend this cd to anyone that like gospel rap."
