Album DescriptionKavana is a British singer, songwriter and actor. He first shot to stardom in May 1996 after the release of his debut single Crazy Chance (written by Howard Donald of Take That). With half a dozen top 30 hits behind him Kavana became a teenage heartthrob in the late 90s. His debut album, simply entitled Kavana was certified Gold on release in 1997, selling over 100,000 copies in the UK alone. By the end of the year Kavana won a string of industry awards, including Best Male Artist 1997 voted by the readers of Smash Hits Magazine. Most recently Kavana reached the final of Grease Is The Word on ITV, screened every Saturday night throughout April, May and June of this year. The show catapulted Kav back into the hearts of the British public. Impressing the judges with his acting and singing talent he sailed his way through boot camp reaching the live shows, competing to play the part of Danny in the musical Grease. Week after week he proved he still holds his cheeky magic and although he didn't win, Kav finished a very content and respectable runner-up. This superb collection of music brings together all Kavana's single releases from the late nineties, some of the best album tracks, rare b-sides and some previously unreleased material. One of the previously unreleased tracks on this album is Heart Like The Sun which is a duet with Lulu. Also included are the hits Crazy Chance, Where Are You, I Can Make You Feel Good, M.F.E.O., Special Kind of Something, Funky Love and Will You Wait For Me. Kavana will be supporting Girls Aloud on two dates of their current tour on July 3rd and 7th.
