CD ReviewsHey Listen Up! Mikey Twain | Virginia | 10/12/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "No, not you fans. If you're here than you either already like Keel or you want to bash them. Record companies and the RIAA. The music industry wonders why file sharing is so popular and takes a chunk of their change? This is why. People are sharing music because YOU don't make it anymore. We're not thieves. There are 2 copies of this cd as I'm writing this. Probably used at that. If the music industry got off it's ahem...back catalog and re-released these albums (a remix and remaster or three would help too) then people wouldn't illegally share products like this and you'd make a profit. Fans would be happy, everyone would be satisfied. But, this is probably falling on deaf ears. You should really check out this cd if you're an 80's rock/hair band fan...oh, that's IF you can find a copy." Not Bad / But Not Great Shane Bush | Rochester, NY | 01/22/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "This CD is OK, but lacks the great punch of earlier Keel recordings, such as "The Final Frontier". Which is not available thru Amazon, does anyone know where I could get a copy of "The Final Frontier" CD? Has a great song called "tears of fire". If anyone knows where I can get myself a copy, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. You can e-mail me at any of the 3 e-mail addresses. But I check the 1st one the most.Shane.Bush@us.heidelberg.com / seb@kodak.com /shane_bush@hotmail.com /" Keel - 'Back In Action' (De-Rock) Mike Reed | USA | 09/10/2006 (4 out of 5 stars) "This later-day Keel effort is way better than I had expected.EVEN though it's turned out to be mostly previously unreleased demos, this ten track CD rocks!Above average '80's metal for your full throttled listening pleasure.Tunes that I was most impressed with were the title cut "Back In Action","Proud To Be Loud",their superbly done cover of Argent's "Hold Your Head Up" and "Speed Demon '84".Who says metal is dead? Line-up:Ron Keel-keyboards&vocals,Marc Farrari and Bryan Jay-guitars,Kenny Chaisson-bass and Dwain Miller-drums.A definite should-have."
