"I have nothing more to say than : "Mega Opus" ! This is a mini CD from Keep Of Kalessin ! Musically it can be described as a mixture between Mayhem's "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" and Zyklon-B's "Blood Must Be Shed" !I can only suggest this to people who are into black metal of the intelectual Norwegean scene . Hail to the genius of this release ! I bow down to its' creators and to this truly grand opus !"
A must have

"Keep of Kalessin is soon to reach the status as one of the greatest Black Metal bands ever to bestow us with their damning gifts. This EP is a beautiful transition from the first two albums (which are also must haves - despite the fact few BM fans know of them) and is a perfect predictor of Armada, though perhaps to a lesser extent of Kolossus.
The line-up is a bit odd in that it reads more like an allstar team than anything else, including Frost and Atilla. Why Vyl was not used on this EP is unknown to me, but there's no disruption in the band's musical direction as a result. Of course, the vocals are Atilla's, which are instantly identifiable, and Frost admittedly plays drums differently than any other work he's been on (e.g. Satyricon and 1349), so for that reason alone, this disc is work listening to, especially if you're an extreme metal drummer who appreciates the latter's style."
