Oh, yes

"Every CD, LP and tape I own that features Gidon Kremer playing chamber music--with anyone--is a treasure, and this one, which I had on an old tape, is no exception. I wanted to get the relatively indestructible CD version while I still could, since I couldn't imagine these Mozart bon-bons ever being played with more relish and charm. In fact I think the duo K.424's Variazione movement alone is worth the price. Mozart could produce more music using two instruments than most composers could accomplish with a 60-piece orchestra, and the duos are delightful evidence.
As for the trio, I hope someday to have a clarinet version, but in the meantime this one, scored by Mozart for viola, could hardly be faulted. The Kremer/Kashkashian chemistry holds, and Afanassiev's piano provides a deft complement, with a lush and seductive result."
