"I love this recording. In this day of highly edited "perfect" performances, it is wonderful to hear this great artist in live concert. Yes, there are a few little mishaps along the way, but what shines through is a great musical thinker and spirit. I highly recommend this recording."

"Kempff's Mozart, Schubert and Brahms interpretations are really breathtaking always. His manner is belongs to the realm of tenderness, absolute, innocent, childish and "meaningful" beauty. He was also famous for Beethoven interpretations but I dare to say that, Beethoven is ill-tempered for Kempff. Listen and admire this wonderful live performances."
