A live 2-CD recording and a true collectible--Ken Page is a one-of-a-kind tour de force and a genuine Broadway legend (Ain't Misbehavin', Cats, The Wiz, Guys and Dolls). Ken Page combines the magical music of Broadway and ... more »popular songs from Top 40 radio to weave a majestic tapestry. Page by Page is a truly unforgettable evening in the theatre. It's effervescent, emotional, and universal. "A pop style with more than a little southern soul in it ... power and the rounded, smooth timbre of record stars such as Luther Vandross, but his approach is rougher and more openly theatrical." -- New York Times "Page may be from St. Louis, but he was bred in rhythm-and-blues and has made his mark in New York and Broadway ... seems to have harkened back to the experience the lyricists outline, survived the crises all over again, and is able to express that journey to the audience." -- New York Post "Mr. Page had the audience snapping their fingers and tapping their feet ... warm exhilarating stage presence." -- Parlee« less

"Ken Page's one-person show is amazing. I have seen him in many of the productions that he talks about; the back stories make all of my memories even more fun. Even if you have never heard of him or seen him perform (is that possible?)the disc will entertain and enlighten. Enjoy."
An amazing voice and excellently produced.

"Whether you are a Broadway fan or not this is a terrific treat. One wonderful moment after another as his incredible voice sets your toes tapping and heart thumping. For those who have had the opportunity to see him on stage (and I have in several productions) this is a great opportunity to dance down memory lane and for those that have not, you are in for a wonderful treat. They can call it Black Broadway history, but I just call it superb."
