"From the start, this is not a boring Britpop album. It's full of feeling and energy right from the awesome 'PVC' and 'People we want' through to the close harmony of 'Acetone' at the end, which makes you wish the album wasn't ending. But wait.. There's a bonus track, which really shows the whole spirit of the band. Excellent"
Super colossal!

"These girls play so sweet and pure, it makes my bones ache. Like from another dimension of goodness and light."

"shame kenickie have split; come out tonite (written at a ridiculously young age) sums up everything you ever did wrong in your early teens and makes it seem right. the girls and the boy were witty, clever and a hundred and one miles away from the stupidity of mor pop music. trash with substance, love it. viva kenickie."

"Three girls and a boy, making rock music that will blow you away. There are harmonies and rock like the Bangles, but quicker, darker, deeper and louder. Lauren Laverne and Marie DuSantiago sing the leads, but the style of the album is coherent throughout. The songs are short, which adds diversity. This is not a CD for a quiet afternoon. It's for when you want to shout it out with a lot of fun!"
