"Expanded to forty-two tracks, this now serves as the ultimate Kenny Loggins compilation ever assembled, covering 1971 through 2000. The first seven are Loggins & Messina tracks. There are tracks from films such as Caddyshack I and II, Footloose, and Top Gun to name a few. There are collaborations with artists such as Michael McDonald (This Is It), Stevie Nicks (Whenever I Call You "Friend"), Steve Perry (Don't Fight It) and Amy Grant (Return To Pooh Corner).
The eco-friendly packaging is a four-sided gatefold sleeve with pockets holding the discs and booklet. The discs were a little hard to remove but that's a minor complaint. It also features info on the seven tracks on the third disc as well as photos recycled from the previous two-disc version. By the way, the booklet and the first two discs are exactly the same as the original featuring the same catalog number (I have the two-disc version also). The first track on the third disc is from Loggins & Messina's second album and the last track is a live recording from 1980.
I'd stop short of calling this a definitive collection since not every album Loggins recorded is represented but all of his major hits are here. And since there's currently no boxed set from him coupled with the fact that some of his back catalog is currently out of print, this is now a truly essential collection to any Kenny Loggins fan or someone familiar with his music. Whether it's this or the original two-disc version which is still in print this is probably the best Kenny Loggins collection out there.

"It would have improved if "Peace of Mind" was on there in place of "Till the Ends Meet". Or "Long Tail Cat" that's an early Loggins gem!"
