Took me 9 months to find the CD (pre-internet days) but the search was worth it! Growing up in Brooklyn N.Y. during the doo wop era, I know the H. S. they sing about and what every street corner group was doing to be heard. The lyrics recreate those moments exactly! Another great track is "Your Way". It captures the simple essence of slow doo wop singing the way it was done back then. Even the "cover" songs are handled beautifully, with slightly different arrangements to make them fresh again. Kenny's voice may not be as powerful as Jay Black's, but his style and back-up group do a masterful job on all tracks. A great addition to any doo wop afficianados collection.
