"First of all, Amazon has tagged this CD "#100 in Music > Children's Music > Stories." Humm, well I first heard these stories on NPR and I'm trying to figure out why Amazon considers them Children's Music or Music since this is a spoken recording of humorous stories not particularly suitable for children in both theme and content.

Kevin Kling is a great story teller and humorist. I first heard these on NPR and these are really "driveway moments" as they call them - you pull in the driveway and just sit until the story is over. Kling has the unique talent of turning most events and memories in his life into a funny story, and leading to social commentary or observation that does not place the humor in the background. His voice, comic timing and presentation are perfect for the medium. He reminds me of a Minnesota version of Andrei Cordrescu.

My favorite tracks are Wonderlure and Marathon. The Wonderlure will and can solve ALL your problems and you can use it for fishing as well. If you are a marathoner or know one, jeez, play Marathon for them it's hysterical. The other tracks are just as good, but these are my two favorites.

Kling repeats the old adage in one of his stories... God loved stories so much that he invented people so he would have an infinite supply of them. Well, this is one quality collection of funny stories that I recommend highly.
