Synopsis

Superstar DJ Derek Love--better know as Kid Capri--practically invented the collage art form known as the hip-hop mix tape. Given all the changes the genre has endured over Capri's more than 20 years behind the wheels of steel, his ability to remain current and in demand through it all is nothing short of astounding. With radio shows and club gigs, solo albums and megatours to his credit, Capri returns to his roots with Soundtrack to the Streets, an all-star mix of rap tracks with comic-relief skits and a bunch of high-profile exclusives. Featuring everyone from old-school favorite Slick Rick (dueting with Snoop Dogg on "Unify") to up-and-comers Ranjans (on a furious freestyle), Soundtrack is a nonstop hip-hop ride that captures the energy and excitement that has driven the music since day one. --Roni Sarig

"This track is HOT. Kid capri really did it with this one. He hasn't been around for a while but the original Dj king is back to clame his title. He has alot of guest rappers on this track with hot beats. Pick it up!"
Exactly what hip-hop needs right now.

"This star-studded CD is packed with all of the cameos a classic hip-hop CD should have. Capri's tight beats offer hip-hop a much-needed break from the modern, samplecrazy artists and singles."
