Album DescriptionKIDS ON TV explore the worlds of punk, no-rave, electro, booty house and experimental rock, referencing many elements of queer history and the artists who inspire them. KIDS ON TV is basically a three piece from Toronto, Canada with a bunch of frequent guest musicians. They explore the worlds of punk, no-rave, electro, booty house and experimental rock. They reference many elements of queer history and the artists who inspire them. KIDS ON TV transform environments with projections of their film and video work. A good first insight in the band's humour and social embedding (Hidden Cameras, Lesbians On Ecstasy, Gentlemen Reg etc) gives the video to their smash-hit "Breakdance Hunx" which will come in highest quality with the CD and is also available on the "Girl Monster EP 1" vinyl-release for all the DJs and vinyl-Freaks. KIDS ON TV is not only an intriguing band, they create a show like no other with breakdancing in the audience, call and response and audience members dancing on stage. Their first on stage appearances in Europe 2006 were frenetically celebrated and managed to transfer the enthusiasm of their Canadian/ US-American fanbase, anywhere they appear! Their debut album "Mixing Business with Pleasure" was recorded and produced by KIDS ON TV in Toronto between 2003 and 2006 on a busted laptop and two microphones. The album was mastered by the amazing Larry Kramer, founder of Shimmy Disc (Galaxy 500, GWAR et.al).
