"Aside from some of these songs just being inappropriate for kids to be singing along with, the performances are terrible."
And They're At It Again

"I fail to realize the point of remaking songs that for the most part have the exact same lyrics as the initial version. Why do that when I can buy the original and have better vocals and better background music? The slightly different melodies to the songs are just plain horrible. Why mess with a good thing?
Jason Mraz's song "I'm Yours" was ruined. Not only was the melody of the song changed for the worse, but both the Kidz and the adult singer's vocals are very poor when compared to the smooth and soothing voice of Jason Mraz. The Jonas Brothers's "Burnin' Up" (don't let their Disney Image fool you, the Jonas Brothers do have talent) was also destroyed due to the vocals of the singers.
Finally, the Pussycat Dolls and both songs by Rihanna should not be on a CD that is trying to showcase 'kid friendly' music. The Pussycat Dolls's image in the music industry is everything but wholesome. And Rihanna's song is about leaving a man who cheated on her. Since when was this good for children's ears? Not to mention the lyrics were changed to fit the 'kid friendly image'. When you have to mess with song lyrics to make it acceptable to kids, you should just leave it alone as obviously it was not meant for it to be on the album.
Parents, trust me, the originals are better."
Awful

"This is a great idea, because we so obviously need to inundate our kids with music that's totally not appropriate for them. I guess celebrities and the media just aren't sending them enough of the wrong messages on their own and need this help."
Not as good

"My daughter has most of the Kids Bop cd's and when we listened to this one the kids voices were not as good as the other ones, in her 9 yr old words "they sound awful""
