She's still got the music in her!

"With the exception of a few odd appearances with Elton John, not much had been heard from one Kiki Dee until the mid-90s, when she smartly partnered with Carmelo Luggeri. Oh sure, there were a few hits compilations and so on, but even though she'd been touring, new output had been relatively slight. This album broke that quiet streak wide open and revealed a lovely, mature, acoustic side to Kiki that was (and still is) eye-opening! Her stripped down "unplugged" take on songs such as Jane Sieberry's "Calling All Angels," her own "Amoureuse" and her big #1 "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" (sans Elton John, or any other male vocalist) are just incredible. She's still got the voice and with Luggeri, the perfect accompanist. Her later output with Luggeri would herald a wonderful return to form she'd never lost in first place, followed by a reissue of her Rocket catalog to much acclaim. This, however, is what kicked it all off, and it great form, too."
