"Kiki Dee has been in the music business since she was a teenager. She has always had a truly sublime voice and time has not diminished her vocal abilities. She can put all her heart into a ballad and she can rock. Accompanied by the amazingly talented Carmelo Luggeri, Kiki is doing what the duo calls "non-commercial music". In 1996 they put out the very beautiful "Almost Naked" which was followed by "Where Rivers Meet" which included Eastern Indian musicians and is a sumptuous albums. I really wondered how they'd follow up such a masterpiece. "The Walk of Faith" has a different sound but no less great than the predessors. Kiki Dee is in excellent voice and Carmelo adds innovative accompaniment. These albums have a "spiritual" aspect to them but nothing new age. The songs are ones we can all relate to as human beings. The title track deserves radio play but I don't know if it received any at all. I love the new path Kiki Dee is on and that voice of hers is so very, very fine. I love this album and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a great work of art but there are songs that make one want to get up and move to it. This is a must-have album!"
